"Reel" Challenge Anyone, Lots of ?'s
I was given the following reels by a friend who retired. I’m trying to pick 3 or 4 to keep to set-up my first kayak assortment . They are all in great shape but will need new line. Anyone have any suggestions on what if any to keep and the type of line to put on the keepers. I plan on fishing the Bay and LJ of course. Working on a tight budget so thought I could recycle these for awhile.

25 to 30 # braid on the 500 its going to take close to 500 yards if you go straight braid. I would first on spool on 200 yards of mono to back the spool then put on 300 yards of braid, with a top shot of flouro.
