Last timely report
At least for a couple weeks, heading to Canada to hunt for Musky, Pike and Bass until the 24th.
Today was breezy from the word go and only got worse, squid was plentiful but not much in the way of takers. Saw a couple BSB caught early then nothing for a decent number of guys out. Most of the crowd headed in early. Around 11:30 my clients and I were sitting on the spot with two other guys and one boat. All of a sudden the surface erupted all around us, too close to even cast too, I mean right next to the yaks. One of my guys hooked up and was in for a nice fight and scored his first YT. And as quick as that the fish were gone. The wind kept building so we headed for the barn. Hopfully I have some good stories to tell from my trip when I get home. I hope the fish keep biting for everyone here.

good job sticking it out and not rolling back in when the going got rough. Sometimes, a little more time can mean the difference between a big payoff or that infamous skunk that we all know about. I've heard similar stories from others saying, "everyone went in but I decided to stay out and I caught a ........., it looked like I was the only one out there" I'm sure you have a happy client now.
Good luck in Canada!!!

I love those situations. Nothing makes my heart pound more. Usually you can tell its about to happen far in advance. Starting in the air followed by the sonar then an eruption of yellows that you think hadnt eaten in weeks. Its what keeps me returning every weekend and the occasional day I can skip work.
Best part is when you hook up and a powerboat comes flying in and they scream out "were those bass". haha - it happens
