SD Bay 9/8
cruised to tidelands yesterday midmorning and it was tough fishing for almost 2 hours and no fish.. finally started picking off some spotties, mostly smaller fish so i decided to tie on a spinnerbait and fish deeper. caught some larger bass around the bridge pilings and as i was drifting under the bridge i threw my bait at a piling and let it sink alongside it. it got picked up on the drop and whatever it was started taking line. as i got it in closer i realized it was a nice corvina. caught one around the same size a couple weeks ago on a spinnerbait and took it home so i decided to let this one go. great end to a long day on the water.
