LJ 12-25
Beautiful day on the water today. Small waves at the launch. Offshore wind died out around 8AM. No current and no fish. Really quiet out there. Came in to dirty water at the beach and flooded streets. Sewer problems had them blocking off the streets around the launch. If you're gonna launch at the Shores tomorrow, it might be good to have a backup plan. Happy holidays! :santa:

Sorry, Andy. But I thought you were gonna fish for sculpin off the roller coaster tomorrow. I'm sure it busted wide open when I crossed back into the reserve.

Unfortunately no. Beautiful day but the fish must have been opening presents elsewhere. Nils and I called it quits around 1:00. Saw on little spot of sctivity but it looked more like bonies or dolphin.

Same story today. No fish up top. I did get a mac crushed just behind the eyes on the bottom. I hooked up something big on the bottom later but my leader broke and came back all frayed.

West of the rollercoaster was bass and boneys. I fished in 40-70 feet, went through alot of sardines, no halibut. FYI. I launched from Mariners Point at 6 AM, bait barge, then outside by 6:30, 15 minutes later I was at the reef in 60 feet.

Saw you, if you were. I was on a 3/4 boat, that ended up fishing SW LJ. ops: Moot report: 2 yellars on the boat by rent-rodders fishing for whitefish --squid strips and #2 hooks in 150'+. No chit. I fished a yig for nada but sore arms. Kept a sheep and a handful of rf on anchovy. All fish were puking up shrimp, fwiw. Z |

Zed you saw me(1/2 mile out) or Mike Knott, (at the channel entrance) we both out there in disguise. I saw the 1/2 and 3/4 go by and watched where they went. I also saw those 2 YT in the Seawatch count.
