Off topic: Visiting SoCal?
I know this way off topic, but I need an idea. I'm from the Portland area and coming down with the family to visit Disney Land. We would like to head over to the beach for the day. Which beach would be the best and is nearby? We have already spent a lot of time in the car. The kids are teens if that helps point me in the right direction.
Thanks Eric |

Head down to Main street and Pacific Coast Hwy in Huntington Beach. It's a popular spot. Nice pier, lots of places to eat, not as many people now that schools are beginning to start back up.

Thanks for the advice. That was the first place I saw when I pulled out the map. I didn't know what to expect. Now I hope the clouds clear up.
Thanks again! |

ps- Wahoo's has good fish tacos, Fred's (upstairs on the corner of Main st and PCH) has decent mexican food, but the eye candy usually makes up for it, and if your wife is with you, keep her away from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Chocolate everywhere.

I think I'm in trouble! You said "chocolate" and I'm with 3 ladies.
Thanks again! |

Had a great day at the beach. Thanks again for the info. The second the ladies hit main street they found the chocolate and then got pedicures. They left me with the margaritas.
