Baits

I'm going to be trying out some baits that I bought from overstockbait.com
I got two different type of artificial shrimp plastics. One from Wave Fishing and another from Obaits. They are a great website to order from. When I bought these they were having a $.99 sale. They had a lot of stuff for less than a dollar.i bought some Yum money hounds for 99 cent a package when BPS sells them for $6.50. A couple of 3/4 OZ terminator weedless jigs. Some scampi lures and some chartreuse Trigger X leeches to dropshot for the bay bass.
The money hounds are for La Jolla. Top water kelp lures that I have caught calico bass on before. The rest will be tried out at the bay tommorow.

I'll be working today, but I was at Tidelands the last two weekends. Let me know how those lures work for you there. Have fun dude!

Tidelands

They bit on everything! I met Jason at the launch and we went out together. He was new to fishing the channel. He had fished the shallow area south of the Lowes water taxi dock. We went out to the channel and let him borrow a spinning outfit with braid after he had no success with his set up.
Not a spectacular day but there were some big fat spots mixed in.
