Incredable fish. There aren't too many fish I would use a harpoon or flying gaff on, but pacific halibut are deffinately one of them. Mike

Imagine halibut fishing on a kayak in alaska. Wonder if its possible to land a 200-300 lbs butt off a kayak. I know when there that big the charter boats use a gun to kill it once its up to the boat...

BD was cool back when I joined a few years ago but as soon as it went global the whole site and its members changed. Its cool that its gone global but you can't post sh#t on that site without someone giving sh$t.

It's a good site for gathering intel on the fishing conditions, but plan carefully what you post because they give no mercy - most of the time in fun, but fail to fully use the search feature and ask something old news and suffer the wrath! |
