LJ 10/10 AM
Launched at 0600. High tide, ankle slappers, no wind, water vis. 25', water temp 63. Bait was tough, only made one greenie at the pier. Met a LJ first timer (Stan). We headed to the kelp to see if we could make bait. Only managed one big mac. With only one in the bait tank, I decided to bounce it. I went out to the hali spot and sent it down. I was marking some good spots on the bottom, but no takers. I started throwing the iron and pick up a sandy.
Yo-yoed and hooked this lil guy. Mac pattern 6xjr, mid column on the retrieve. Landed at 1030. I noticed a lot of stingrays at the launch, so becareful. Good luck out there, -D
