Bullhead City to Lake Havasu
Has anyone taken their kayak from bullhead city to Lake havasu? I was wondering how long it would take to cruise down river

I have wanted to go with the flow on a few stretches of the Colorado for years. Bullhead to Havasu would be sweet. Or Willow Beach to Mojave. Maybe even Parker Dam to Uma. I think it's doable but there is some serious, often drunken, horse power going up and down that river. I haven't researched if a permit would be needed. A pick up and drop off would be cool or use to cars. Mike

my family goes to havasu every year. Maybe this one I'll get somebody to drop me off in my kayak at needles and fish the coves all the way back. That would be sweet

A guy a work with has a place out there and its his idea to go from bullhead city to lake havsu. Our wifes will drop us off. I have never been out there and have no clue how far this is or how long it will take. he is thinking 4 to 6 hours but i have no idea.

Not sure who it was that turned me on to it, but check out Ferguson Lake. Great fishing and you can camp right on the water.
