DFG future bass regs

I was reading an article in one of my magazines where the DFG is courting a rule change for bass catches. Bag limit to 5, minimum length 14" with a max length as well. Anyone else hear anything on that? Not that it bothers me or anything, just curious.

I read this as well, I hope they do, it will just increase the size of our bass in a few years as did Florida, I am all for it

I think it's a great idea. I also have been C&R ing all my bass (when I actually do catch them) for the last couple years.

I'm all for it. Heck, it's long overdue in my opinion.

My only fear is that this will snowball into more strict regs on other species which don't need as much protection.

I defiantly think they should implement a slot limit too for the big ones. 18-24 and only 1 over 24" can be kept.

Not that it will have much impact overall, but I think I will voluntarily adopt the 5 fish, 14-18 inch rule. The 5 fish rule is easy too, I rarely catch that many anyway.
