heartbreak hotel no more
Told myself all I need is 1 YT. Everything that could go wrong,
did go wrong. Spent a lot of time non fishing, and the catching that I did was the wrong kind. 5:30 I talked a diver that said he saw a 30Lb Yt. This was in front of the hotel in not very deep water. Hook up! Got kelped, but it was all young kelp, easy to pop. End of story, 30 LB 38inchs. One hell of a fight compared to the 30 Lb YT I caught a few weeks ago. That one was 43 inchs. The way she fought I thought it would go over 30 Lb. Revised weight - My home scale, which I beleive. says 27 LB. |

So the diver saw it and it hung around until you got there....incredible....I thought they were always on the move. I caught my last one in shallow water also in front of the hotel near the cans...easy paddle.
