8/21 Monday AM
been watching you guys kill the Hamachi for the past two weeks..
finally got a chance to get out there... not the most inviting morning, NW breeze that didn't let up all night making for a textured surface.. lots of bait popping up in front of the hotel, sardines, greenies, and spanish.. a nice strong current making for a 3 for 4 morning on the YT, 10-15# models dumped a toad right at gaff when it decided to break circle and get tangled in my stringer full of fish that i leave hanging off the sled... bummers.. not the high 20's models like Brad's been getting but something with shoulders and twice the power as the others.. LJ's fun.. i need to make a better effort to get out there.. the fish are there, go get 'um! |

Sounds like a action packed morning Nelz. Even if I had charged my batteries, I probably would not have reached ya from the pier. Tomorrow looks like a better day, I'll be out again Wednesday.
