I was sitting in the garage the other day wondering why I didn't set you up with a fuse, then I remembered it's because you were in a rush so we just slapped it together real quick and never got around to finishing the job...we we're supposed to square that away when we got back, like two months ago...did you buy the battery box yet? lol
And that reminds me, i still have that mini fuse jammed in my fuse holder from that day at the launch! |

I use none and none.. however, if I had a lowrance hd-s system I'll probably use 3 in-line fuses.

Yes, you can get one at any auto parts store and then install it in the positive line between your battery and the item(s) you want to protect. I wire mine in right at the battery so it stays inside the battery box away from moisture. |

I have the 3 fuse for the FF, but want to add the bait tank to the same battery. Should I go up to a 10 or so?

Devil - where are you going to split the power off for the 2 devices? I would use 2 fuses if possible. My bait pump says to use a 5 amp fuse.

Highly recommend using bus fuses (ATC)rather than the glass ones (AGC). Troubleshooting, many times I have found poor connection with the most minor of corrosion on the latter type fuses. We sell quality marine ones.
