Not in the yak, but a good day out on the water
Spent the day yesterday on Diamond Valley with a buddy on his boat. Man, I wish this lake would allow kayaks. We had a great time. It was actually my first time fishing this lake and I think I'll be back. We had a steady pick all day on a variety of baits. This lake is loaded with fish: saw lotsa' big ones chasing bait up the banks. Caught a few on the roboworm, a suspended rapala, and this one (my best of the day) on a jig with a crawdad trailer. After a quick picture and the release, my buddy mentions the scale he has under the front bench ... just a little late. Any guesses on a weight? rob
