storage dilema, still...
OEX in SD is kinda far to be driving just to take the yaks out in Oside harbor, its the same milage as my parents house from me. storage units that are 15x5 run around $200 a month. wich would be ideal being indoors and out of the weather, but an extra $200 just isnt feasable to me right now. before i deployed i looked into dry storage in the bay (oside) and couldnt get a straigh answer from anyone there. it took me like 3 hours just to find someone that worked there to ask.
so im thinking of getting a trailer and keeping them covered and just park it in an open space in the back lot of my appartments are paying the $60/mo at a storage unit. what would you recommend? and what kind of trailer would work? i've found tandem trailers for $1500, but i know i can get something off of CL for cheaper and build a platform. |

Maybe somebody here will let you store it at their home/office for less....I would but the big empty warehouse I have is about to be leased. I had to take my cars out and cram them back into my garage, leaving enough space for my kayak too.

Keep an eye on the lemon lot on base. Some times there will be toy haulers and such in the back.
