LJ shores Sat 5th; Sun 6th "kayak overload" !
Saturday launch very easy and the seas flat, headed out at graylight to the condo for bait. Very big macs under the birds, Got about 18 in 30 mins. Proceeded out to about 85 ft. in depth and flylined two baits. Almost instant bendo on good size yellows. Next was a double, very fun. I got one of the two, about a 10lber. Short time later another double and both fish landed. Unbelieveable the amount of yellows in this area. I farmed about 6 fish today for various reasons! So in all I took home 4 yellows all in the 8 to 12# class. Sunday I went to the same area for bait. I was about 70 yards off shore around the condo area when I look up and see a massive swell coming at me! Paddle like hell outward and climb up a wall at least 12 feet high. And two more after that. Wow!! Got bait quickly and on the grounds early. Same thing today as yesterday but no doubles. Plenty of yellows around, I brought in 5 today, not big fish but a great fight on 20# line!!Oh yea the down side of the whole situation was the amount of boats out there, I felt very wedged in, so I went in !!

Wow! I am glad i went to SD Bay on Sunday. I probably would of been toast from those rogue waves. Did you see if they got anyone in a kayak or on the rocks?
