Almost back!

I bought an old SOT vision kayak today, 17ft. If you see me out on the water don't laugh at me. 5 years ago I bought a new 15 Ocean Prowler, had one saltwater reel(a jigmaster). No fishfinder,or a bait tank.It wasn't long I felt like a floating tackle shop going out I had so much stuff.
Two years ago I had to sell off all my stuff ,kayak, reels, tackle, just to pay my bills after the economy tanked and I wasn't working.
I just recently started working enough to attempt climbing out of this economic depression I've been in.
I would rather fish then eat, so when I saw a chance to get back on the water for a few hundred dollars, I swallowed my pride(I wanted a hobie with turbo fins)
and brought her home on my kia. No storage, no rod holders, no seat, no FF bare bones(nice paddle though). She looks fast as hell, low and sleek, has a skagg. Lots of deck space.
I still have that jig master, and Im making a bait tube. Im going to test it out tomorrow after work in lake Gregory, up in Crestline and make sure she floats.
Next payday I'll buy a fishing license, make a gaff out of something and be launching at La jolla.
So if you see some old guy in an old white SOT chasing birds, and casting jigs with a wore out jig master, don't laugh, and check out the deck, good chance they'll be a Yellowtail tied down on it. Yaky yak
