Big Hammer Kayak and Float Tube Tournament
Big Hammer Swimbaits Presents
Float Tube and Kayak Tournament Series Haskell’s Beach in Santa Barbara* August 20, 2005 A multi species tournament for Calico Bass, Sand Bass, Halibut and White Seabass Utilizing Artificial Lures Only. There will also be a Bass Division as a side pot option. All Bass must be Released Location: Haskell’s Beach* Time: 6:00am to 1:00pm Price: $10 enters you in the to multi-species division (There is a $10 optional Bass Division and a $5 side options for largest Calico and largest fish) This tournament is for the heaviest 5 fish bag caught. This means only 5 fish can be weighed in per person. Fish caught on live or dead bait will not be accepted, artificial lures only. Entry in to the tournament is 10 dollars. This includes entry for the best 5 fish Multi-species bag. Optional side entry for largest Calico and largest fish is $5 per Jackpot. There is also a 10 dollar side entry for the Bass Division. Notification of this will be with in 48 hours of the event by email and/or phone. ***In the effort of conservation a weigh kayak will be patrolling the tournament area. We require catch and release of calico and sand bass and will be offering one swimbait per bass weighed and released alive. In order to attract the weigh kayak a red flag must be attached to a rod tip or pole extending at least 5ft from the water. A limited amount of flags will be available at the launch and they can be purchased for 1 dollar, but if you can, please bring your own. The weigh Kayak will also have a cell phone so they can be contacted. It is the responsibility of the angler to ensure the health of their bass until the weigh kayak arrives. We recommend livewells or large fish baskets. |
