meh people like me like to fish (and c + r for the most part) not take part in surveys nor politics people like me were taught by my dad that fishing is suppose to be fun and not a stress fess ok read ure thread i see where u are coming from since i didnt catch any fish not taking the survey results in the same net gain cept for the macks and i just dont see macks being ever put on a do not catch list before every fish is on that same list anyways how would i know for sure that this particular clipboard lady was pro fishing? and not a transplant from the childrens pool lunies? specially since iam not local and not accustom to such persons at my regular haunts and you are very wrong about that last comment people like me are not why we have fishing zone restrictions i say to you about that u dont know me and lumping someones inaction as an action to restrict is bull (and i edited out what first came to my mind as i tend to type as i think it and talk it) those who seek to control you will regardless of what u think the process was never ment to be fair and i think most were just getting played as is usuall with politics Last edited by radastaff; 05-09-2011 at 10:12 PM. |

When you said you "didn't care" it sounded to me like you were saying f u to everyone who actually put up a fight to help control the mlpa process. Sorry but that one kind of hurt as I put in my time. Not trying to be personal about it, sometimes it necessary to be harsh... it was meant to offend people and make them care. Trust me, I'm a skeptic too!

If your not doing anything that your not supposed to be doing ,then I dont see the harm in participating. If we( Fish and game ,MLPA,Fisherman,Fisheries)would all work together and communicate ,then I believe plenty of good things can come to all .And to all I mean to the sport of fishing and the need of abundance in fish.To me the idea of closing parts of La Jolla for fishing rock fish and bass is not a bad idea .Think about it .We have so many places to fish .This closure will supply us with more fish .Any how , I am no expert on preservation or anything of a sort .I just go with what makes sense for the situation. We all have one thing in common ..we like the ocean and the fish in it .
