NPH, 4-25-11
Well it didn't go so well for me today. 4 sandies, 1 legal. I just could not get bit, or stick the ones that did. Steve on the other hand seemed to pulling them in left and right. I threw just about every color I had. Water was a balmy 64º and pretty clear. Wind started off very light, went offshore for while and then shifted to a northwest wind. Current was a bit sluggish much of the time. Fished from about 6-10:30. Hopefully next time goes much better.

I Would of asked Steve what he was throwing and his retrieve method. It's no fun when one guy is catching an the other not!

Believe me, Steve and I were talking. I just lost my confidence and once that goes forget it. At least last week the shoe was on the other foot.

Ed and I shared info the last two times and it didn't seem to help the other I have to say if you can stay with your weight, color choice and speed and start off with a fish or two early your confidence level sure helps. I started with a good color that worked right away then switched colors often to see what was working. I did fine that a slowwwwwwwwwww speed or medium retrieve work in the moored boats.
We had beautiful morning weather A few c&r pics
