If you have been thinking about being a mentor, just do it. For whatever reason I was really nervous the first time I volunteered. But, I had a blast and it was easy. You just go fishing and help a person, who probably doesn't know much about what we do, try to catch a fish and relax. There's some grunt work involved, but many hands make for light work. And you get a free lunch.
You don't have to be a great angler either. Just be willing to help and you'll get on fine. So, go to Eventbrite and sign up. Watcha waiting for?
