droper loop or spider hitch ?

For halibut fishing I use a spider hitch. For YT and WSB I use a dropper loop. Both are good knots, but I think a dropper loop is significantly stronger than a spider hitch.

I like the spider hitch. It tkes about 5 seconds to tie and has always held well for me. Mike
