Hobie Mirage Drive 180 Kick Up TRADE

Just bought a lightly used MINT 2023 Lynx. It comes with the Hobie Mirage Drive 180 Kick Up fins ($1000).

Call me old school, but I don?t need these fancy fins. Looking to TRADE them for the REGULAR fins (Turbo preferred) + $300 on your side. Must be in excellent condition too.

Pick up in San Diego

Sometimes change is not a good thing -- The older fins are easier to maintain, and have much less to go wrong with them. I have a pair, not in pristine, but with extra spare parts to throw in with it. Problem is I am not local.... kind of a deal killer

Now that Hobie stopped using the older fins on the entry level kayaks, the inventory of spare parts are drying up. Something to keep in mind if you do find someone to do the trade with.

Thanks for the info John. You?re correct on the low inventory of the older model. With the extra cash I could buy the extra spare parts for future repairs. And I can put the rest towards other kayak upgrades. This 180 is a beauty, but more moving parts, the more headache to repair and more expensive it is.

I?ve decided to keep it, but idk still. Hmmm tough choice.
