I did some research for you. You may have a serious medical emergency on your hands.
According to the SouthwestEast Journal of Fishing Medicine :
"Eating small spiny fish captured while not having a clue about what one is doing may lead to a condition called Spicyditis. Some symptoms may include reduced sensation in the groin area, poor fashion taste and difficulty kayaking in a straight line."
