Went to Irvine Lake on Sunday and brought 2 Kids, Roman and Roxy. The Lake is full and the launch was very easy....
Roxy caught the first fish....
then we got hungry and decided to have a picnic lunch in the middle of the lake!
Roman's turn, as he hooks and lands a nice one on the 2 pound test rig...it was amazing to watch Roman get towed on light line - 2lb test!
Smallest fish weighed 3 lbs, these were large trout.
I wonder where Roman got the idea to pose this way??? He obviously reads BWE! (thanks Wade!)

It was an absolute beautiful day on the water, clear blue skies, air temp was somewhere in the 70's and water temp was a cool 61 degrees. Irvine Lake is close to home and the fish are large and hungry! 'I love it when a plan comes together!'
