Yeah, I agree with Silverwood probably being the best local choice. I saw that article, too a while back. I'm sure the trout are probably ok to eat, I don't think they get many hold-overs, but I'd release the stripers. They don't charge anything to launch a kayak, but they'll do a hull inspection so make sure your boat is dry. I think they're up to $10 to get in the gate now. The wind gets real heavy in the afternoon. Cleghorn Cove is good to drift with anchovie.
