Sometimes change is not a good thing -- The older fins are easier to maintain, and have much less to go wrong with them. I have a pair, not in pristine, but with extra spare parts to throw in with it. Problem is I am not local.... kind of a deal killer

Now that Hobie stopped using the older fins on the entry level kayaks, the inventory of spare parts are drying up. Something to keep in mind if you do find someone to do the trade with.
