Soy Ginger Tuna

Last week, I was fortunate enough to catch my first Jumbo Blackfin of the SE Florida spring migration.

After Bleeding and gutting on the water, It was taken home for filleting. My neighbor used the head and carcass for soup stock. In her culture, the eyeballs are a delicacy. One of my favorite cooking methods is seared. This time I used Town and Countries recipe as a guide.

Being a huge ginger/garlic fan, I doubled the amount of garlic and tripled the amount of ginger from what was recommended. I also used Avocado oil instead of Canola as Canola is known to cause inflammation for some.

I love this stuff.
