I know this is not technically a fishing report, but i consider it a "Fishing Report in Training".
Has anyone ever thought about making a paddle out to catalina. I know nothing about it except for that I would like to try it in the summer.
My plan is to launch out of any harbor that would put me closest to the island, paddle out one day, fish for a few, and paddle back on the last day.
I have GPS, VHF, and cell phone.
Has anybody done this, is it possible, anybody crazy enough to come?
