Target species was bonito for the hoops and then some Reds.
After a morning of play at the Del Mar Pumpkin Station with the family, I
peddled out to the flotilla outside the kelp off Marine St and managed one
good sized bonito on a small megabait. I missed the bite by an hour.
Farmed another bonito trolling out to the deeper fishin' grounds.
A deep spot was biting OK, but its a long kayak ride in breezy, sloppy,
choppy seas. Got a few reds though smaller than usual.
