I was fishing in the Oceanside harbor one day and a seagull was bobbing it's head down in the water. I thought it was just looking for something.
I was drifting right towards it and it didn't move. So, as I get right next to it I noticed it was kinda struggling to keep it's head out of the water. I grabbed it and noticed a hook in it's beak and a line attached so I bring it in and pull on the line and it had a fishing pole under it. This seagull was lifting it's head with a fishing pole stuck to it trying not to drown. I saved it's life!
And got a nice little Abu Garcia rig out of it.
