Catching birds sucks! I got 2 pelicans in one cast from the skiff on Sat. Lassoed one with the line & hooked the other in the wing. Funny shit, unless you're a pelican.
One of them bit Todd on the arm as we were unhooking him. Scared the crap out of him.
