Hey, I used to get bait from that guy at DP in my "pre-yak" days. I made a sled off of his design for keeping bait alive off the rocks, but never from a yak.
IMHO I think it would be a great treat for the toothy critters, if trolling it behind the yak. I have had a mako go for my bait tube before, so I don't think I would troll that thing behind
my yak.
