Was able to take the Kraken 13.5 out few a demo session on Mission Bay. The Kraken 13.5 is a fast kayak. The boat has good glide and tracks well. A rudder would work really well on this kayak and the install is straight forward. I own a Tarpon 140 and to me the speed is similar. The stability is good as I was able to stand up and fish. It was a calm morning with a lite wind and not much boat traffic, but was still able to stand up. The seat is comfortable, feels a little better then the previous model. It does have a high/low seating system but I only used it in the low position. I have a larger crate and was easily able to reach everything in the crate from the seated position. I used the center hatch with the hatch insert. The insert was great for storing pliers, snacks, tackle, and even a jacket. My quick take on the Kraken 13.5 is a good paddling kayak that will fish well, get you there quick, and provide a comfortable platform for your outing especially if you have back issues.
