I lost the top part of my ear due to melanoma. Not sure how or when I got it, but I did and I had to have it removed. The only way they could do it..., remove the whole top of the ear off. I am now totally covered from head to foot when I'm on the water. I even wear fishing gloves. Better safe than sorry.
