Do your macs ever shake the hook?
I've been experimenting with different hooking styles lately. I always used to just go in from the mouth and out the top-center of the bait, but lately the damn macs with shake their head and out comes the hook. So, I went to hooking through their nostrils, but then the bait seems to spin when trolling (even at really slow speeds).
What's your favorite way to hook your macs? I use circle hooks if that makes a difference? Never noticed this before.
