So my gf knows im a fishing addict lol and she bought me and her a 3/4 day fishing trip out of newport harbor aboard the Freelance i believe. Its was a groupon and i just need to use it before june 4th. i have no idea how the fishing is over there, never been ocean fishing north of La Jolla. My thinking was to wait till like June 1st to get some warmer water and better chance of a yellow or something on the surface iron. Even if i cant get a pelagic, i just want my gf's first ocean trip to be an enjoyable one with good action. So she'll buy me trips like this more often lol
