That's the
first thing I thought of when I thought of buying/making rod leashes. Every leash I own I bought on eBay and all have spectra/wire cores. The ones that don't need to be coiled I made from marine grade cord (aka 60# Rod Butt cord).

HAD A REALLY GOOD Idea (THANKS)! I have a bunch of old BB phone plugs I never got rid of that I could use for some small leashes (for bait nets and for a leash for my YakAttack light poles etc.)
