True, but the finish at the Zip ties are as smooth in comparison to a clip. Personal preference I suppose. What sold it for me was the compact aspect of this design.

Yeah I would think so too, but making a few more every now and then wouldn't be that much trouble. I probably would use a thicker line for the paddle.
