I've been using size 16 hooks as of late and they have been working very well for me. Seems to work pretty good for the small and big stuff. No bobber, no cat food no bread crumbs....Every school doesn't bite, watch your fishfinder for schools of bait and drop on them, if it doesn't bite move on to the next one and find one that does.
