That is for normal sonar there is no DSI signal without the 455/800 kHz transducer. The beauty of the HDI is the unit can display both to give you a much more 3D type of view. I just bought a HDI unit too. I was planning on using only the 83kHz but you're saying its better to use the selection of 83/200kHz combo instead? I figure get the widest cone possible...does the 83/200 give you same cone as just 83kHz but with greater detail?
