I have heard different opinions on whether the transducer swap for the kayaks was free when you buy a Humminbird fish finder.

Some said they sent it back and got a free exchange.

Others said no.

I called Humminbird up today and they told me that they will swap your transducer for the plastic through hull one but it will be a 60 dollar charge and 15 dollars for shipping.

This has been implemented this year.

So everyone that did the swap last year got lucky.
