Seen them 2 yrs ago off moonlight bch,about 2-4 miles out with my Nikon 12pwr binocs.Probably around 10 of them circling around and meandering/playing.Had to be them as fins were 5-6ft tall to be seen at such a distance.Seen false killers at Seaworld last year and were nowhere as big.
Always scanning the surf during fishing season.Even seen a white seabass cruising in the surf zone from 60ft up on the bluff once.Same spot where i look offshore,60+ high on bluff,hence long distance view.
