Ditto for todays report... Windy, difficult to read the water and generally a challenging day on the water.
I did find a small school of YT boiling and chasing bait around the break in the kelp due west of the point but as I got caught up to it and prepared to hammer the heck out of it, the New Seaforth barreled straight over the top of it and then turned around and ran over it again!
Then they anchored over it's location, within yak iron range (which is too close for me), pulled in what looked like a 30-35# variety of the right kind and just as quickly roared out of there leaving seals and cuda for the rest of us. They were definitely within iron range, and I was a little miffed at their lack of respect for others on the water but what do ya do? It looked like a limited load today too. At least they did not pull up and start throwing Irons at me!
