I constructed one for a Prowler I had a few years back. Make sure you either bungie or strap the sides around the nose of the yak. The suction cups may be great holders, but it won't keep it from flying off when you hit a gust.
Definitely great for downwind runs, but remember you have to paddle or pedal back
