did you get the new one for nearly the price of old?

No, I paid far less. $27 for the difference in the two cameras and $64 for a 2yr accidental warranty.

what failed? congrats.

The lock/snap that seals the door shut on the camera case broke off. Because the case is part of the package they had to do a full exchange, I asked if I could pay the difference between the 2 and 3 and they said YES

i have simillar situation . i want to take advantage off this. was item purchased at sports chalet?

Nope.....Best Buy but it was purchased with an extended warranty.

i have pair of top of line waders , that failed within quater of season. my fault due to having gotten solvents on them , while working in garage . the glue on neoprene quickly disolved while trying to clean them. . i bought new pair at approxiamatly 130.00 dollars . without warranty . i have thirty days to decide to get warranty. should i go back and get the warranty?

I would. I believe the warranty at Sport Chalet covers nearly anything that can go wrong with a paid of waders like punctures, tears, rips, etc
