If its a stress crack it would be wise to identify the source of the stress. If it spreads to a scupper then its a whole other issue. Jb weld? Hows that better then actually plastic welding the problem with the same material the hull is crafted from? If it works for you, cool. But there is a right way to do things and I like to feel safe floating in 250' water
