Rad! I've seen those float tubers pull some huge hali's out of there on live bait. I always opted for the 1oz head + 5" swim bait, fishing with the current and slowly bouncing the bottom! I think...

Lots of guys use lighter sticks and pull on YT/WSB ... Those raze rods should be able to handle just fine. I would go with a saltist, mine has never given me problems.

Because that one second sensation of a fish biting your lure/bait is probably just as good as any drug (I assume) ... and you can't beat feeling the power of a fish ripping line off your reel.

Yup, quick flurry and it was over. Got a nice one though. They would stay up a lot longer if all those boats wouldn't drive 20+ knots over them/through the area.

Thanks for the report. Been seeing those yellows come up in wolfpacks too, although I got my jig in front of em like 4-5 times and they didn't want it.

I scored two phenix abyss rods at the vintage guys booth for 90$ each. They were used but in mint condition. Also snagged some iron and some flouro.
