Ok....It had teeth and YELLOW EYES...the eyes were creepy....The way it rolled and fought I thought it was a Thresher...I don't recall the nose...any ideas?

Today out of Dana Point the red tide was pretty much out of sight...a couple of bands from the harbor out to 75 yards....then clear all the way out to the poles....

I have only seen one kayak in play with a sail since I have been fishing out of Dana Point Harbor...and he wasn't fishing...the back stay would be the only thing I can see in the way from a fishing...

With the Mirage drive, I can maintain around 3...

With the Mirage drive, I can maintain around 3 knots no problem for quite some time...burst to 3.5 or better, on the paddle I can go as fast for a third as long....I have the turbo fins on the drive..
