newbie question
 

I live in OC and just started kayaking. Where do you launch from and park to fish newport and huntington harbors?

A good place to launch at HB harbor is Sea bridge park. It's easy to park and launch there. You can also launch next to the OEX sunset beach. After you are done fishing you can go buy more gear from Andy at OEX! For newport I either launch at the Coast guard station or on the other side on E Balboa Blvd. I am sure there a several more places to launch near the homes that have access to the beach, just make sure you stay off the private property areas.
